The Boy Who Cried Wolf
When I was little, I lied about everything. I always blamed things I did, on my blanket or imaginary friend. My mom decided that it was time to tell me the story about the boy who cried wolf when i was about 5 years old. I think I cried for awhile after hearing this story, why did the boy have to die? Really? It's a story for children and they kill the main character? I never understood why the boy would lie about a wolf, that didn't seem like a lie worth telling, but everyone is different. Why did his parents let him go out in the woods to play? I didn't lie for a very long time. I was always afraid if I told a lie, the wolf would come and eat me. It was a good way for me to learn to be truthful and it made me believe in karma. I will definitely tell this story to my children, but instead of the boy dying, i'll tell them that he had a bad bruise that eventually healed. There was alot of stories that helped me learn lessons, but this story was the one that I will always remeber.

Technology.
Technology is one of the best things in the world! I don't think I'd be able to get threw the day without sending my best friend a text, checking my Myspace and listening to my Ipod. If I ever need help on my homework, directions from point A to B or even a new website to shop at, all I have to do is "Google" what I'm looking for.
After I moved, I wanted to make sure I could stay in touch with my old friends, so being able to IM them or even text them makes it 100 times easier. Although having all this contact that's not face to face makes it harder to work on our social skills, I think we all benefit greatly from the advantages of technology. I'm sure we're all guilty to talking to someone online and than being to shy to say at least 'Hi" in person.
Technology can bring us all together, but is it in the good way?
